This sculpture is in fact, painted. It was a Christmas present for my brother, and I only just found these images on my computer...beside, I think it looks better without the blue-and-black paint. So tacky.

Your typical sea-dragon on a ball...that...is for some reason, resting in the hand of another dragon. Seriously, I don't know what I was thinking. But it's there. The photos were taken by me in the bathroom of my floor in my university dorm. The bathroom was cleaner than my room, so...well, yeah.

Made with original Sculpey...countless days and weeks worth of effort.

I think this is great!!! And I guess the ball had to rest on something? The claw doesnt look out of place or seem strange unless I think about it. Maybe its a pet dragon of a dragon!

The sculpture is fantastic..you really have skill for this (which I do not!) and you have taken wonderful photos that really show off your eye for form. The lines of the dragon are beautiful, the way that it curls around the ball is very artful. And it’s somehow not tacky like most dragon sculptures (even sold commercially), probably because you’ve chosen to paint it in white. Very stylish choice.

:-) Laura 'Era Yachi' Ulian replies: "Actually, it’s not painted white...it’s made from regular Sculpey, which is white. Thanks for the kind feedback. I still haven’t gotten over my lazy phase and uploaded a painted version, even though the sculpture’s sitting right outside my room. I do think it looks better white, though...oh well, can’t go back. Thanks again!"
